Whats it all about?
Our Feather Touch Brow Treatment is a semi-permanent procedure using a precise disposable blade to simulate hair strokes and fill in sparse brows. The small strokes are only as deep as the superficial layers of the skin. A dye is then applied which absorbs into the strokes, leaving you with soft, gap-free, natural-looking brows that enhance your natural beauty.
Who’s it suitable for?
This treatment is suitable for most skin types, although we recommend booking a consultation to chat with one of our lovely brow experts who can confirm whether your skin is suitable or not.
The best candidates are usually normal to dry skin types (as oily skin sometimes won’t retain the pigment as well as other skin types). Don’t worry if you’ve got sparse hair – we can fill your brows naturally with our fine natural stokes!
What will my brows look like after treatment?
You can expect some minor redness, swelling and tenderness immediately after treatment. An hour or so later, we encourage you to gently wash your brows with a neutral cleanser before wiping clean, drying and apply your after-care cream.
At first, your brows might look darker than you expect, but this is temporary. It’s important to resist touching your brows (including picking at flaking skin) during the healing process, and try to avoid sweat/exercise, pools, salt water, makeup and direct sunlight.
The initial healing process takes between five to ten days. When your brows are completely healed (after approximately four to six weeks), you can come back for your second appointment – which is where the magic really happens!
After your first treatment you may feel there are some areas that could do with a few more strokes, or that your brows are slightly uneven. It’s during the second treatment where we perfect your brow shape and colour.
We provide you with full post-treatment care instructions for you to take home. After your second treatment, you should only need touch-up appointments approximately once per year to 18 months.
How many treatments do I need - can I just have one?
To achieve the beautiful, natural brows of your dreams, most clients need two sessions. There is the occasional client who will require a minor third session and we will chat to you about this in your consultation. The first session is where we softly introduce pigments to ensure we’ve got the right colour and shape for your skin. During the initial healing phase, you may find your brow colour changes or fades somewhat – don’t worry, this is normal. During the second treatment, we master your colour, fill in any gaps and blend everything together.
How do I choose which look I go for?
To ensure your brows look naturally gorgeous, we try to simply enhance your individual brow shape and colour. In saying this, we can certainly make your brows a lot bolder by adding additional pigment during your second treatment.
It’s our job to help you create the perfect look for your face. During your consultation, feel free to show us photos of brows you like but don’t stress if you don’t know what look would suit you best – our brow experts are happy to guide you through the process.
What tools do you use?
Our highly trained brow artists use a fully disposable blade to gently and precisely impact the surface of the skin.
How long will my Feather Touch Brow treatment last?
This depends on a number of factors (from age and skin type to medical prescriptions), but you should only need a touch-up appointment approximately every year to 18 months. Because everyone – and every skin – is different, your brow artist will be the best person to advise how long your treatment is expected to last.
Prices start from $275 per session with an Intermediate Brow Artist, or $325 per session with a Senior Brow Artist. Please note: two sessions are required.
If you’re ready for full, natural brows without the daily hassle – give us a call and book a consultation today. Our team of experts would love to help you achieve your perfect brows!
